I hear you, brother, and I feel your pain. But we grew up (or, at least I did) with superstars like Koufax, Drysdale, Wills, and others. We were spoiled. But, at least we can boast we have the best announcer in the form of Vin Scully. Count your blessings.
I grew up listening to Vin Scully and Chick Hearn. They taught me to love the Dodgers and Lakers! These two men combined artistry and apologetics in their given field.
