Quote of the Week: Cornelius Plantinga Jr., 3

Self-giving love is the dynamic currency of the trinitarian life of God. The persons within God exalt each other, commune with each other, defer to one another. Each person, so to speak, makes room for the other two. I know it sounds a little strange, but we might almost say that the persons within God show each other divine hospitality.

Its strange because its not true. There is no trinity The Bible teaches a literal Father and Son in a loving relationship not mere role play.

Brian, many passages back up the trinity. Re-read John 1. If the Word is God (not another god), the trinity must be true.

If true, (I believe it is.) it is an teaching analog for human relationships and shines light on the work of the Trinity towards our salvation.
